Most tax returns can be completed on a Fixed Fee basis. The exceptions are when your tax affairs are especially complicated or you have capital gains tax liabilities. In these cases, the fee will be based on the time taken to deal with the tax return. The information needed to complete your tax return is listed here. Print it out and use it as a check list.
What does the Fixed Fee include?
Completion of one Self Assessment tax return form.
Completion of all the necessary supplementary pages.
Completion of your business accounts if required.
Calculation of your tax liability or repayment.
Submission of the tax return electronically to the Inland Revenue.
What is not included in the Fixed Fee
Obtaining information from third parties.
Preparing capital gains tax computations.
Tax and financial planning advice.
Providing references to third parties.
Dealing with Inland Revenue enquiries or investigations.
An estimate of the cost for this type of work will always be agreed with you in advance. If it is likely to be exceeded, you will be informed in advance of the additional work being done. There are no unexpected or hidden charges with TAX EXPRESS.
